Dan Simonson (Founder)
Dan founded Simonson Consulting, LLC in 2001 after identifying a large need in the business community for financial and management executives to be more effective at managing data, analysis, and IT related processes.
Prior to founding Simonson Consulting, Dan was Controller for a semiconductor equipment manufacturing company and was responsible for managing corporate finance and assisting in systems implementations.
Additional work experience includes Financial Planning Manager for a fortune 500 company and various senior level Financial Analysis and IT Management positions.
Dan's specialty areas include automation and re-engineering of accounting and operational processes, building business intelligence systems, and assisting business managers with financial strategy.
Dan holds a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from Arizona State University and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. Dan has received significant additional training in the areas of financial modeling, database development, business intelligence, and strategic finance.
